BUN OF THE MONTH SERIES

Hello ladies,

It’s no secret that I love my buns for a whole host of reasons, the first being that I don’t like to spend too much time creating a hair style.
Another reason is that for a lot of black women, protective styling is important if you would like to retain more length. So because of my hair journey, buns became my comfort zone and go to hair style.
The third and most important reason for me is the fact that I genuinely LOVE buns. I think there is a bun for any outfit or occasion.

Over the years I have created and sometimes copied many super quick buns. I decided to start a Bun of the Month series in which I will share my favourite buns and how I created them.

Good evening Ma, watched you on Ebonylife TV and decided to follow on Instagram. Am having issues trying to really start my hair journey. For texlaxing, of which I want to start, what brand of relaxers are best and how long should the relaxer stay in before its washed off. Lastly, what’s the duration between each texlax. I use the normal Ozone relaxer now. Await your response.

Hi lade, please can you compile all your protective styles in one post? Sometimes, I’m so out of styles, I wish I could have something to refer to. Thanks

      Hello Solum

As much as id love to do that it would be quite time consuming BUT what I can do is create a new category called pictorials so when you click on it all my hair style pictorials will come up. I am doing this just for you…:)

The categories tab is located within the right side bar under popular blog posts.

Nice. What did you apply to control flyways? How do you keep your new growth moisturized when you are deep into your stretch?
