Hairfinity is a successful brand that many of us are familiar with; however for the benefit of ladies aren’t, Hairfinity is probably the world’s best selling hair vitamin. Hairfinity vitamins are an all natural dietary supplement that gives the body all the nutrients and minerals it needs to grow healthy hair. Basically Hairfinity helps you care for your hair from within.
Due to the fast pace of life and the hectic schedules most of us have, our diets often become compromised because of our lifestyle. Many ladies do try to eat healthy food but also use dietary supplements to provide their bodies with the nutrients that may be lacking from their diet. Ladies trying to grow longer hair often choose Hairfinity because it is rich in nutrients and vitamins that specifically promote fast hair growth. Just have a look at the Hairfinity Instagram page to see the great progress so many of its users have achieved!!
Hairfinity is currently sold in 34 countries and was officially launched in Nigeria in 2012. If you live in Lagos, you may have come across several of the brands billboards and adverts on BRT buses recently. Hairfinity also has a strong social media presence and many celebrity endorsements in Nigeria and worldwide.
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the Hairfinity Team at the Beauty Africa Expo held in Lagos last October. I really didn’t know what to expect and felt a bit nervous about meeting the creator of such a huge brand. I can tell you with sincerity that Tymeka Lawrence, the creator of Hairfinity and her team were so warm, considerate and professional, very driven and somehow made work fun, I had such a blast.
What struck me the most was how hard working and hands-on everyone was and how much they all believed in their brand. The experience as a whole left me feeling motivated and inspired to work harder on my passions and projects. I am so proud to be teaming up with Hairfinity who are sponsoring this rather generous giveaway.

Some of you may be familiar with the popular Nigerian hair blog, Naija Hair Can Grow and the fabulous lady behind the blog, Daboju.
Every year, Naija Hair Can Grow (NHCG) hosts a salon day out which is packed with many hair related talks, competitions, vendors and products.. The salon day out this year is scheduled to hold on 7 June 2015
My wig company, Hair by Type 4, participated as a vendor last year and will do so again this year. It will be a great chance for you to see some of our wigs and creations up close. I have also been invited to speak at this years event. Myself and other bloggers will be talking about the ups and downs of our hair journeys.
Besides getting to meet fellow hair obsessed ladies, bloggers and hair care professionals, I am also looking forward to the Battle of the Hairlistas, a competition in which winners will receive a cash prize and Design Essential products.
Anyone into taking care of their hair is welcome to participate by sending an email to Daboju with the subject I want to battle. Intending participants should contact her between now and the 20th of May

Let me start by saying thank you to all the participants for the giveaway. There were 27 ladies who entered the competition.
As promised I collated the list of entrants and selected a winner using Random.org.
As can be seen in the picture below, the winner of the giveaway is entrant 22: Bosa.
I contacted Bosa last week and she has received the hair dryer and soft hood bonnet. She was so happy to find out she won and I am certain she will make good use of the gifts.

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
This post should have been up on Tuesday but I am still going through a very busy period. Not that I am complaining but I am sorry to have kept you waiting.
I am very happy to have the first giveaway on Hairducation. I thought about what gift I could give a reader. Naturally I wanted something that would be great for a hair journey. I decided to give the gift of deep conditioning. We all know how important deep conditioning is for keeping black hair soft and strong.
As I indicated in my last post, there are two items in the prize. The first is a hair dryer bonnet. This is plugged into the end of a hand dryer to create the same effect as hood dryer. It can be used for deep conditioning and hot oil treatments. It can also for roller sets.
This is how I have deep conditioned my hair throughout my hair journey.
As you may have already guessed, the second part of the gift is a hand held hair dryer. I chose a 2 speed and 3 temperature setting hair dryer. I was determined to find one that had a cool temperature option so that the winner can blow dry her hair with cool air.
HOW TO ENTER
For a chance to win the prize there are three little things you have to do
1) Like Hairducation on Facebook ( scroll to the top of the blog, the facebook link button is at the top left).
2) Follow Hairducation on Twitter .
3) Leave a comment on this post letting me know that you have completed steps 1 and 2.
I will select a winner at random. The giveaway is open now and will close on 15 March 2013. the winner will be announced shortly after.
Feel free to ask your friends, sisters, cousins etc to take part for a chance to win.
Please note that due to logistics, this giveaway is only open to ladies in Nigeria. Apologies to my international readers. I will have another giveaway soon that will be open to everyone.
Best of luck ladies.
