BUN OF THE MONTH

Hello ladies

A few weeks ago, I styled my hair and took a few pictures for my bun of the month series but it was a massive epic fail.  My hair was 21 weeks post back then and the style just didn’t look right or photograph well.

Now that my hair is freshly texlaxed, I made a second attempt at creating a super quick and cute looking bun although the style I ended up with is sooooo different from what I was going for.

Unfortunately I haven’t managed to fit in the pictorial showing how I created this style but I am happy to do and post it if anyone is interested.  If you are, please let me know by commenting below.

My next blog post will be about how I self trim my hair  followed by a quick tip I have for blow drying with heat.
Come back soon

x

    Hi Lade,
I’ve been on a HHJ courtesy inspiration from you for 3weeks and i intend to transition from relaxed to texlaxed. I got almost all ur staples to experiment on my hair and they seem to be working for now.
Being new on my hhj, i’m looking for natural ways to stimulate hair growth and i got JBcastor oil, lavender oil, rosemary oil and peppermint oil.
My questions are; 1.how best do u think i should use them? 2. Warm or room temprature? 3.On the scalp, hair, or both? 4.How frequently?
I will appreciate ur opinion. Thanks

      Hello Onyi

I am glad you are embracing a healthy hair jouney
      1) there are many ways to use oils on a regimen….ive written a post about how to use oils on a hair regimen which you can find by using the search bar at the top right hand side of this page.

      2) either option works
      3) both can work but don’t oversaturate your scalp with oil
      4) I aim for 2 times a week, some ladies do less or more

      Hope that helps

    Hi Lade,
I love this bun and am interested to know how you did it. Please may you post pics of how you did it. One of the challenges I have had is trying to come up with different, quick, easy-to-do protective styles so I am totally enjoying the bun of the month series. Thanks for sharing.

      Hello Rudo

Thank you sooooooooooooooo much, I am glad you are enjoying it.
I love really beautiful elaborate styles but the reality is that day to day I just need simple easy going and easy to do styles.
I am loving this series too I must say…..its making me realise just how much fun I can have with very little stying effort.
